We operate two brands: Fertile Source (biofertilizers, plants and gardening products) and Dump It Now (scrap-for-goods exchange and plant sales). 2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email, delivery or pickup address, order details, enquiry messages, scrap pickup details (item type, estimated weight, date and time slot), gardening service requests, and your email if you join our newsletter.
- Information collected automatically: device and browser type, pages visited and cookies, to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.
- Payments: payments are handled by a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your full card, UPI or bank details. We only receive the payment status and a reference number.
3. How we use your information
- To process and deliver your orders and send order updates.
- To arrange scrap pickups, weigh items and issue credits or coupons.
- To reply to your enquiries and service requests.
- To send our newsletter, only if you have chosen to receive it.
- To improve the website, prevent fraud and meet legal requirements.
4. Consent
By submitting a form or ticking the consent box, you agree to us using your information as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect what we did before, but we may not be able to complete an order or service without your information.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only as needed with: our payment gateway, delivery and courier partners, email, hosting and cloud service providers, and analytics tools. We may also share it with authorities if the law requires. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Storage and security
Your information is stored on secure cloud servers, which may be located outside India. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above and as the law requires (for example tax and accounting records). After that we delete or anonymise it.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email us at fertilesource@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Terms: cash on delivery rules
- Offer cash on delivery only on orders up to ₹500.
- Add a cash on delivery fee of ₹30, to cover failed deliveries.
- Block cash on delivery for numbers that refused delivery more than once before.
10. Refund policy
A cash on delivery order can be cancelled free of charge before dispatch. Refunds for damaged plants on a cash on delivery order go by bank transfer or UPI, after you've checked the photos.
11. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your cart and sessions working. If we use analytics, those cookies help us understand which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work.
12. Children
Our website is meant for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its date.
